Our clients are a young couple who relocated from NYC because the husband sold his reality production company to a bigger firm located in Los Angeles. We immediately bonded over our love of the Hamptons and we agreed that this cold, modern frame of a house must be warmed up and we would use a Hamptons style contemporary beach house as inspiration.  It was all about adding organic forms and warmth throughout.  Shortly into our design process, they were pregnant - very exciting and we jumped into doing a bold really fun nursery - wallpaper is by House of Hackney, rug by Armadillo.

 

As soon as we finished their home, Covid hit and the couple left to rent a few homes in the Hamptons to ride out quarantine closer to their family as they just had their baby son.  Once back they had an even greater appreciation for what we had done, which felt great to hear.  Their home feels incredibly comfortable, warm, and is a perfect place for them to raise their young son.
