22 Interiors is looking for a superstar Junior Designer based in Los Angeles to join our team. We're a boutique luxury studio working across residential and commercial projects on both coasts, from Malibu new builds to Hamptons retreats, with a California-European point of view. Our ideal candidate is creative, self-driven, detail-obsessed, and as excited about the hunt for the perfect vintage piece as they are about the spreadsheet that gets it delivered on time.

 

Responsibilities:

• Sourcing furniture, fixtures, lighting, textiles, antiques + vintage pieces, and art, with a keen eye for craftsmanship, uniqueness, and provenance

• Building and maintaining FF&E schedules, spec sheets, and sourcing documentation

• Managing samples: requesting, tracking, organizing, and keeping our materials library beautiful and usable

• Supporting procurement from purchase order through delivery in Houzz Pro 

• Assisting with client presentation boards and mood boards

• Running to showrooms, workrooms, and vendors across LA 

• Supporting installations and styling days on site

• Communicating directly with vendors, fabricators, and our team's project manager

 

Qualifications + Capabilities:

• 0-2 years of experience in an interior design studio (strong internships count)

• Degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field

• Proficiency in Google suite; including AI programs like Gemini, Claude, and Chat GPT, SketchUp a plus, Houzz Pro a big plus

• Skillful at juggling multiple projects at once in a fast-paced small studio

• Excellent communication (written and verbal), high E.Q., and genuine curiosity about how beautiful rooms actually get made

• Meticulous attention to detail. We mean it. Our work lives and dies on the details

 

Physical + Gear Requirements:

• Our studio is in Studio City, and this is primarily an in-person role

• Must have a car and a valid driver's license to drive to showrooms, workrooms, and job sites across LA

• Sometimes this job is physical: you'll help carry samples, unbox deliveries, and climb the occasional ladder on install day

 

JOB COMP + BENEFITS

22 Interiors is a small studio where you'll work directly with the principal and senior designer, not through layers of managers. You'll see every phase of high-end projects up close, from first concept to the moment the client walks into the finished room. We work hard, we move fast, and we teach as we go.

• Salary range: $52-62K commensurate with experience (or: $28-35/hr depending on experience part-time with room to grow)
